Would you like to experience a peaceful and joyful life? If your answer is "Yes", then you must believe within your heart that Jesus rose from the grave and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord--you are SAVED!  Read the 7 steps below to strengthen your faith.

1. Realize no one is good enough.
"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one"  Romans 3:10

2. Recognize you are a sinner.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23

3. Remember that God loves you.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Chris died for us." Romans 5:8

4. Receive God's Gift.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God." Ephesians 2:8

5. Repent of your sins.
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:38

6. Required Action
.
A-Acknowledge: "If we confess our sin, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

B- Believe: " Believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead." Romans 10:9

C-Confess: "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus." Romans 10:9

7. Results-Salvation
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under the heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12

A confession of faith is only the beginning of the Christian's life. Be sure to pray with and for new believers and encourage them to study their Bible, to connect in fellowship with other Christians, and to pray each day for God's strength and guidance.
